A terrific approach to #airpollution transparency: #Google #StreetView cars will be used to check air quality. Starting with 50 cars in Houston, Mexico City, Sydney, they will capture air quality data by observing CO2, CO, NO, NO2, O3 + particulate matter. https://t.co/WE3ppfGlNF pic.twitter.com/fJzzkLJn3L

I recommend you take a look at this #infografic, outlining the impressive development in global #AI #investment. Global funding for AI topped $15bn in '17, a 144% increase vs. 2016. US tech companies stand for 50% of that investment. It's an arms race! https://t.co/gmKs3i02nn pic.twitter.com/NKIYIlFfGL

I hope this will in fact materialize… is #Volkswagen's #ElectricForAll campaign the desired breakthru for #EV in the incumbent #automotive world? They expect their MEB platform to be the basis for 27 EV models (10mn volume) by 2025. First cars in 2019. https://t.co/yfmdss5SNd pic.twitter.com/GwywTz7Y6Q

I like this #AI approach to using transparent, human-like reasoning to solve problems + outline how it gets there with an "attention mask". #MIT researchers developed it to evaluate images, using 70K images & 700K questions: achieved 99.1% accuracy. Wow! https://t.co/06n7humLbt pic.twitter.com/7pOSSDYDzT
